A couple of weeks ago we did a roof and gutter cleaning job for a client in Kirkland, Washington. We showed up and greeted the people that live at the house and then we walked around the house to double check everything was ready for us to get started on our work. We started by brushing all the moss off of the roof with hard bristle brushes that de-roots most of the alive moss, but the moss that actually damages your roof is the stuff that you cannot see because it is growing under your shingles. That is what our roof cleaning solution seen in the images below being sprayed onto the roof. After spraying down all the roof with our solution, we go around the house a second time and clean up any debris that was brushed or blown off of the roof onto the ground. Then we are all done and that is a breakdown of a professional roof cleaning.

Pressure washing, also known as power washing, is a cleaning method that uses high water pressure to get rid of dirt, moss, and other contaminants off of your concrete, bricks, or pavers. In addition to that GWP soft wash uses a solution that will make your driveway sparkle. We call it a "post treatment" or "pretreatment" when we put our sodium hypochlorite mixed formula on your concrete to make it sparkle when we are completely done with our pressure washing. That is the big difference between GWP soft wash and doing it yourself because if you do all your pressure washing yourself then your driveway won't sparkle like when GWP soft wash does it.

By eliminating dirt, debris, and stains, the roof's visual attractiveness is heightened, contributing to a well-maintained facade. Additionally, a clean metal surface reflects more sunlight, potentially lowering energy consumption by minimizing heat absorption. This reflective quality is particularly advantageous in warmer climates, reducing the strain on air conditioning systems.

Regular cleaning serves as a preventive measure against corrosion.
